Golden Shears
The World's premier Shearing and Wool handling Championships takes place in Masterton during the first weekend in March.
Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival
10 March 2012, 11am to 5.30pm. Showcasing sensational wines and food from throughout the Wairarapa region, this relatively new event already has a loyal following.
Trust House Balloons over Wairarapa
8th to 11th March 2012. Balloons from around New Zealand take part in this three day balloon extravaganza.
Round the Vines
18th March 2012. Walk or run through the vines with a 10 or 21km course.
